so earlier this year my hard disk which carries my OS crashed and i made a decision to "try" linux as a desktop since i had used it so much at work. To my dismay the desktop version of linux did not suffice. I'm back on Microshit again and got all my music managed once again.
managing my massive 18,000 song collection proved to be difficult for Linux. Most of the software wasn't much more than an ITunes knock-off. There was no MediaMonkey support on Linux. The software which tried to accomplish the task was extremely buggy.
Oh, yeah, and i couldn't play my Need For Speed collection nor Call of Duty. Bummer... I gave it a good try for about six months. I needed my NFS cockpit back.
Well anyway, my hard drive crashed again and I decided to "try" Windows once again. MediaMonkey with Last.fm Scrobbler and Last.fm Node installed, and it correctly chooses music for me from my library, that is similar, based on my listening habits, and I love it! Oh, yeah, it's all free...
